Miniature circuit breaker is composed of operating mechanism, contact, protection device (various release) and arc extinguishing system. The main contact is by manual or electric switch. It’s easy to control the miniature circuit breaker. When the main contacts are closed, free trip will lock in the closing position on the main contacts. The coil of over current release, the temperature element of thermal overload release and the main circuit are connected in series, in parallel coil of under voltage release and electric power. When the circuit is short circuited or serious overload, the armature is attracted over current release, the free trip action, and main contacts disconnect the main circuit. When the circuit is overloaded, the temperature elements of thermal overload release generate heat to bend the bimetal sheet, promoting free trip action. When the circuit under voltage, the armature of under voltage released deliver also makes the free trip action. Miniature circuit breaker can cope with different current situation.
Residual current circuit-breaker: a switch capable of automatic operation when leakage current exceeds a predetermined value in a circuit. Residual current circuit can control and protect circuit well. Commonly used circuit breakers are divided into two types of voltage and current, and the current type is divided into electromagnetic and electronic type of the two. Leakage circuit breaker is used to prevent personal electric shock, it should be based on two different requirements of electric shock protection, direct contact and indirect contact. Residual current circuit is chosen according to the purpose of use and the location of electrical equipment.
